Aircall technical knowledge
It is recommended IT Admin complete the Admin training course before reading this KBA
1. This article includes some of the Aircall technical knowledge learned to date:
- Aircall works best with Chrome
- Phone number after registered, has to be approved by Aircall / Telco (believed to be Optus) before use
- Admin training course takes about 1 hour to complete. It is highly recommended for IT Admins to complete the course
- Each phone number can have a call flow. In the below call flow, although the phone call function is not used, the highlighted step needs to be included for SMS to be captured in Hubspot
- Without using the HubSpot Data Sync integration is Aircall, Families only appear in Aircall app / searchable after a first SMS is sent to them from Aircall
2. Aircall - Hubspot Integration
- The integration is set up using tam.nguyen@sdn.org.au. The account needs to have admin access to both Hubspot and Aircall
- We have been advised that the account doesnt have to stay active to maintain an active integration
- In Aircall interface:
- In Hubspot: search for Connected Apps from the search menu
- Once the integration is active, and the mentioned call flow requirement is met, SMS communication flows automatically from Aircall to Hubspot
