Yealink Dect Phones
This article explains how a Yealink dect phone is set up and some basic troubleshooting
Hardware setup:
1. Base station:

* Needs to be connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable. Any internet connection is fine
* When in operation, all green lights need to be on:
* Top green light: indicates the base station is connected to the phone
* Middle green light: indicates that the base station is connected to the Internet
* Bottom green light: indicates that the base station has power

How to sign in and out of the phone
- Like a Yealink desk phone, the Yealink DECT phone can be shared among users. A topical setup would be used by a dedicated user only.
- To sign in to the phone, on a computer, go to https://aka.ms/siplogin , log in using the SDN account you want to use on the phone. When asked on the computer, type in the random code that's displayed on the phone

Potential issues:
1. User logs out of the phone.
How to fix: follow the above steps to log back in to that phone
2. The phone looses connection to the base station:
The signal bar on the top left corner of the phone indicates the signal strength
How to fix: Move the phone closer to the base station
3. The phone battery is flat:
How to fix: make sure the phone is charged every day before use
